Over at Vox, Sarai made a post about a new Joss Whedon project that she'd never heard of.

Neither had I.

Loved every minute :D

I then read the letter written by Whedon about the poject and a particular detail caught my eye:

ONE WEEK ONLY! AN INTERNET MINISERIES EVENT!

"Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog" will be streamed, LIVE (that part’s not true), FREE (sadly, that part is) right on Drhorrible.com, in mid-July. Specifically:

ACT ONE (Wheee!) will go up Tuesday July 15th.

ACT TWO (OMG!) will go up Thursday July 17th.

ACT THREE (Denouement!) will go up Saturday July 19th.

All acts will stay up until midnight Sunday July 20th. Then they will vanish into the night, like a phantom (but not THE Phantom – that’s still playing. Like, everywhere.)

If you have iTunes, you can purchase the whole thing for $3.99. Also, Joss has stated he will be releasing a DVD with special stuff added on, so options are available.

Still, I've seen ACTs I & II and Neil Patrick Harris is da man.....

I would have DLed it through iTunes, but it's only available in the states.

I've watched the whole thing, but I'm still contemplating buying the DVD...

ahh...i missed it...all the dates were...last week!

but i watched the trailer...it looks good heh...joss whedon is a genius! (as usual)...

i have a feeling this will be on DVD soon : p

And the trailer seemed too bland to my taste. Meh. What's wrong with subtlety?

It's a beautiful piece of film-making and should be hitting DVD before long. I urge you to give it a look in some form or another...
